The lawsuit claims that since 2010 CVS has made improper automated sales calls to up to 450,000 people nationwide, all in violation of the TCPA. Companies that make automated marketing calls without the recipient\u2019s prior consent can be held liable for between $500 and $1,500 for each robocall.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit alleges that CVS and its in-store MinuteClinic service violated the <a href=\"https:\/\/transition.fcc.gov\/cgb\/policy\/TCPA-Rules.pdf\">TCPA<\/a> by auto-dialing cell phone numbers using prerecorded messages.
